Remember Tron: Legacy and that virtual keyboard Sam Flynn has been typing on? If you have 2 iPads, some spare time and want to experiment a bit, now you can have that keyboard, too.
Christian Cantrell, a Product Manager and Application Developer for Adobe’s Web Platform team, is behind this project, which in case you care to know is created using common Web technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. He was kind enough to share his work with the rest of the world through Github, from where everyone can download the software.
Unfortunately though, Christian says typing on such on-screen keyboard isn’t as nice as it looks in the movie. Despite his best efforts that includes adding bumps onto the screen where the F and J keys were located, he confessed it was “more fun to prototype” than to actually use. Sad to hear that. ;(
Then again, it may work for you – head over to Github and see what you can do with it. Good luck! 😉
