Like we already don’t have enough social music apps and services, SK Planet launched MusicBunk, an Android and iPhone app that offers “effortless social music discovery.” Similarly to other such apps, MusicBunk also allows you to share music with friends, have discussions based on what you’re listening to and easily purchase new tracks.
The application relies on your existing music collection to help you find new music and build connections with friends, “fusing the listening experience with social networking.” In that sense, you can see your friends’ music collection, browse it [collection] sorted by “liked” songs, recently downloaded albums or artist name.
Moreover, you can share everything you like via Twitter and Facebook, as well as connect with friends through your Phone Book. The app also offers a “music match” feature that scans the MusicBunk community to find people with similar tastes in music…
MusicBunk is available as a free download and you can get it from the links below. Then again, I’m not sure we need another social music app; trying it out can’t hurt, though.
