iDisplay, the app that turns your Android device into a second monitor for your Mac or Windows PC, got a small, though important update.

The application is described as ideal for multi-taskers, expanding the viewable area of a user’s main monitor by moving other running programs like IM, Twitter and news gadgets to an external display of their Android tablet or smartphone.

Version 2.1.0 adds the following enhancements:

  • Significant increasing of speed of the desktop image mirroring on Android display.
  • Optimization for Ice Cream Sandwich devices.
  • Zoom option – so you can choose your own ratio of Android virtual display to speed up the image reflection of your desktop.
  • More precise cursor pointing on the touchscreen.

The user interface of the app is available in few languages, including ?nglish, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Russian and Ukrainian.

And that’s not all – next version of iDisplay will also include support for Google TV and BlackBerry Playbook…
