US Cellular has revamped its prepaid plan prices making them slightly more affordable. There are now 3 plans to choose from, ranging from $35 to $65. The first plan, available for $35, comes with 400 minutes, 400 texts and 400 picture messages. Next in line costs $50 (previously $60) and includes unlimited voice and messaging as well as 1GB of data. Finally, the most expensive option could be yours for $65 (previously $70), while getting you unlimited voice and messaging along with 2GB of data. Unfortunately, smartphone owners can only go for the last mentioned (most expensive) plan, even though I’m sure that the middle option could work for many users just as well — especially those buying their very first smartphone. Guess US Cellular wants to see them using more data or something. Hopefully, they’ll be re-thinking this strategy and soon enough we’ll see them revamping their prepaid offering once again…
