National Geographic Traveler is out with a new iPad app, this time taking users on a journey through the foodways of Montreal. “A Taste of Montreal” is free to download and it features what NatGeo calls five “mouth-watering sections” including:
- A Table – which spotlights 15 of the more than 5,500 restaurants in the city
- Au Marche – where you’ll find local bakeries and markets that thrive throughout the city
- Hangouts – the best spots for live music, “inspired cocktails and unique brews”
- Icons of Flavor – from where you can learn about the signature dishes of Montreal
- My Montreal – arguably the best part where distinguished locals like chefs, actors, a CEO and even a cartoonist share their secret spots and favorite experiences in the city.
Of course, each section is littered with photo galleries, recipes videos and interactive elements… All in all if you plan to visit Montreal and also happen to own an iPad grab this app. You won’t regret for a second, quite the contrary…
