Like it or not Windows Phone is here to stay. No matter how much money it costs, Microsoft just can’t leave this game. Simply put – it’s too profitable to be abandoned.

Millennial Media thinks there’s money to be made in the emerging platform, hence it keeps updating its Windows Phone SDK to allow developers to monetize their apps. The new SDK (version 4.5) makes it even easier to integrate with the mobile ad network and earn more. Aside from existing banner and rich media ads, now developers can also rely on interactive video ads. Campaigns utilizing these engaging ad formats are in high demand and can deliver generous eCPMs.

In addition, this release also comes with an updated interface, improved location APIs and support for ads that use the accelerometer. Furthermore, a single SDK can be used for both Silverlight and XNA apps…

So if you’re making apps for Microsoft’s mobile platform, you should check out Millennial Media’s new SDK. It’s available from here.
