Adobe has officially announced that Jelly Bean won’t get the Flash support, though the software may continue to work.
Starting from August 15th, the company will use the configuration settings in Google Play to limit continued access to Flash Player updates to only those devices that have Flash Player already installed. Devices that do not fit this bill are increasingly likely to be incompatible with Flash Player and will no longer be able to install it from Google Play after the mentioned date.
Those who badly need Flash running on Android 4.0 are suggested to use Flash-certified devices and ensure that the Flash Player is either pre-installed by the manufacturer or installed from Google Play before August 15th. The list of certified devices is here and interestingly enough it includes Samsung Galaxy S III, while HTC One X is not listed.
Finally, it is recommended to uninstall Flash Player on devices which have been upgraded to Android 4.1.
