You’ve probably heard about the BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) trend that includes companies allowing its employees to use their personal smartphones and tablets for the work. While that helps enterprises and other entities embracing the trend save some cash on device purchases, it does pose some risks.

As I’m writing this, BYOD has been adopted by many companies, both large and small, as well as a number of universities, with many other lining up to try it out. However — and as I stated above — there are some risks involved. For instance, students can forget their device at home and are thus unable to attend the class, while employees may get a virus and potentially harm the company and its data. And that’s just a start… Here’s how it all (pros & cons) comes together in a neat infographic.
