Direct TV just updated its app for the iPad. The new update adds some respectable enhancements to the way you watch content on your iOS tablet. Users can expect improvements like search functions, which like Google Instant, shows results as you type. Furthermore, people can also expect the addition of multitasking, as this allows users the awesome convenience of sending a tweet or email while watching a show. All of this without missing a beat.
When it comes to the big television providers, we can expect much more in the future as these companies try to adopt to a customer today that’s more on the go. DirecTV made strides last year when it linked both the smartphone and tablet to its services. So this is necessary, especially with people growing more acceptable to cord cutting services like Netflix, Amazon Instant Video, and Hulu.
