T-Mobile BlackBerry Bolds and Curves having problems in Netherlands

Storm owners have reason to celebrate – seeing as how misery loves company. BlackBerry Storm owners have been dealing with half-baked firmwares that have kept their Storm from reaching its full potential. Since launch, the BlackBerry Storm has been the criticized for its buggy nature, forcing Storm owners to bear the device’s downfalls. The good news here is that Storm owners aren’t the only BlackBerry customers with buggy firmware! It seems European BlackBerry fans with a BlackBerry Curve or BlackBerry Bold in their pocket have reason to complain, too!

T-Mobile has halted sales of all BlackBerry Bold and BlackBerry Curve smartphones due to a specific bug that hits customers with overage charges. T-Mobile first noticed the problem on their BlackBerry Curve, and immediately pulled the Curve from retail channels.

[Update]
T-Mobile dropped us an email to let us know that the issue was not with software or firmware, but rather a bug in the carrier’s service plan configuration in the Netherlands.
