32GB Nexus 7 spotted on Staples Advantage website for $250

Just when you thought the rumors of a 32GB Nexus 7 tablet were done, think again. A reader on Android Police spotted a 32GB Nexus 7 tablet on Staples’ business website, Staples Advantage. In addition, the ad on the site showed an estimated availability date of October 18th, which assumed, could be a placeholder for a limited amount of 32GB Nexus tabs. Strangely, the price of the 32 gig is a few dollars less than the 16GB version sold in stores today.

The only logic behind this would be the imminent discontinuance of the 16GB Nexus 7, which aligns perfectly with what the rumors have suggested. We have no idea why Google would drop the 16GB Nexus 7, but keep the 8GB version instead. It makes no sense. What we do know is the 32GB model is indeed real, and it is coming. Speaking as someone who purchased a 16GB Nexus 7, I’d be lying if I said this doesn’t burn a little.

However, like we always say here, nothing is in stone until it’s announced, but we’re fairly sure that an announcement of some sort will come from Google sooner than later. We’ll be sure to keep you posted on the latest.

Would you buy a 32GB Nexus 7?
