Cricket added HTC Desire C to its Android line-up. The entry-level smartphone is now available for $179.99 at Cricket company-owned stores, dealers and at mycricket.com.

As you may know from our previous articles on the subject, this little fella’ packs a 3.5-inch HVGA screen, 5-megapixel camera, 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity, GPS, Bluetooth, while Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with HTC Sense 4.0 runs the show. In addition, there’s also Beats Audio technology that delivers rich and powerful studio-quality sound experience. Guess you’ll need this if want to couple the Desire C with Cricket’s Muve Music offering and download all the songs you want for free — as long as you keep paying your monthly plan. Speaking of which, carrier’s smartphone plan options start at $50 per month, featuring no service fees and no overage charges…
