While we still wait to see Sony’s next flagship device, the company unveiled some rather unimpressive phone. The new Xperia E is an entry-level Jelly Bean device with hardly impressive specs that include a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM7227A processor, 3.5-inch HVGA touchscreen and 3.2-megapixel camera with auto-focus. In addition, Sony emphasizes the device’s “outstanding HD Voice quality” that makes phone calls clearer than ever before, as well as noise cancellation that filters out background noise.

Plus, let’s not forget the built-in extended standby mode, recently rolled out for Xperia T and Xperia TX, that increases the standby time up to 4 times.

The Sony Xperia E will be available in black, white and pink, and both single and dual-SIM versions will start selling from Q1 2013.
