Like Apple did for the entire iTunes Store at the end of the year, Google is out with its own list of the best Android apps of 2012 as chosen by Tavares Ford, a merchandising manager at Google Play. “Some launched in 2012 while others issued updates that achieved a great combination of utility, beauty and accessibility,” he writes about the twelve chosen apps. “Almost all of them are available globally and offer a great user experience on both tablets and phones.”
