The Sony Xperia Z is set to hit the store shelves in late February with Jelly Bean running the show out of box (with few Sony tweaks here and there). However, that will be version 4.1 of the platform with 4.2 update coming “shortly after launch.” That’s an everything but specific statement though we’re sure the Japanese company will want to clear this out as soon as possible. That said, it’s not like Android 4.2 brings many notable changes to the phone, it’s just that most users like to know their device runs the latest version of the platform.
If you recall, Jelly Bean 4.2 is more about changes in the UI and in that sense it’s not a big deal for “skinned” handsets like the Sony Xperia Z…
