Google is expected to unveil the Nexus 5 handset at Google I/O later this spring. According to PhoneArena, the handset might not have the rumored 3 GB of RAM and full HD 1080P OLED display, but it may have some fancy camera technology instead.

PhoneArena’s sources tell the site that the phone could use camera technology from Nikon that includes an unknown “triple camera sensor thing.” The camera would be not include technology from Nikon, but it would also be branded with the Nikon name. The same source also claims the phone will sport a 5-inch 1080p display, a Snapdragon 600 processor, 2 GB of RAM, 8 or 16 GB storage options, and a 3140 mAh battery.

The rumor seems a bit light on the camera details, but if it means a better camera in smartphones then I am all for it.
