In terms of the retail store chic-factor, Apple kind of has the consumer electronics segment locked down. Exuding the same modern minimalist design that Apple has perfected in their gadgets, Apple stores are at once beacons of good design and incredible customer service.
But, HTC isn’t going to stand by and let Apple steal the customer service limelight for much longer. Check out the HTC Authorized Care Center in Malaysia. If that’s not the kind of retail store/customer service center that will give Apple a good run for their elitist money, we don’t know what is.
The HTC Care Center pictured here isn’t all that big, but the design makes a big impact. We’d imagine that the customer service quality in is going to be top-notch. Unfortunately, a hop across the Pacific just to test out HTC’s service experience isn’t going to go over too well with our accountant.
