Supposed iPad 5 case shown in Hong Kong, again points to major redesign

A supposed case of the next-generation iPad 5 has been photographed in Hong Kong. Again, this suggest that the new iPad will infact have a complete redesign. Many suspect that the next-gen iPad is going to adopt the look and feel of its smaller brethren in the iPad mini, which is something we’ve been hearing since late January.

With Apple dropping the ball with secrecy as of late (ahem: remember the iPhone 5 shell casing leak?); it’s hard to 100 percent refute this case as not being the legit form factor of the next iPad. Truth is, most of the recent Apple leaks in the past year or so have been on the money. This new case suggests a slimmer and narrower iPad is in the works.
