It’s official now – Lenovo has a love affair with NBA star Kobe Bryant who has yet again found himself promoting a device made by the Chinese company. This time it’s successor to the Lenovo P770, marked as P780, which we’re hearing will launch in the world’s most populous country in the second half of May, boasting a 5-inch screen with most likely 720p HD screen, and powerful 4,000mAh battery. Moreover, it will come with MediaTek’s quad-core chipset and dual-SIM with dual-standby capability allowing it to sing along two different networks at once.

And that’s all we have at the moment. No word on pricing nor whether this bad boy will ever be released outside of China. We tend to doubt that will happen but just in case, we’ll keep scattering for news containing the “Lenovo” keyword… and of course, get back to you as soon as we hear something new. Stay tuned in the meantime, k?
