Sony waives the PlayStation Mobile publisher fee in an effort to get more game developers on board

Up until this point Sony requested $99 from game developers looking to sell their games through PlayStation Mobile store. They’re now waiving that fee in an effort to attract more companies to publish games for PlayStation-certified devices like smartphones made by HTC and (obviously) Sony, as well as the PlayStation Vita.

Sony also wants to get more end-users to use its dedicated game store rather than getting them [games] through Google Play Store, which at the moment counts quite a number of games, some of which are both awesome and NOT available on the PlayStation Store.

Anyhow, if you do want to reach Sony and HTC smartphone owners through this channel, you’ll have to check out the PlayStation Mobile Developer Portal to get more information and submit your game. Check it out from here.
