T-Mobile Promises “Bold Moves” At July 10th Press Event In NYC

If  T-Mobile’s UNcarrier pre-paid plans weren’t extreme enough, the magenta carrier is sending out invitations to an event in New York City on July 10th. Unfortunately, the invite is devoid of any details, just the words, “Our boldest moves yet.” What exactly that means is anyone’s guess.

T-Mobile’s no-contract UNcarrier plans, which were unveiled in March, start with a $50 monthly base plan that includes 500 MB of data and unlimited calls and texts. Customers can add 2GB increments of data for $10 each. Each of these options include unlimited calling, unlimited texting and a tethering option. Customers can also choose an unlimited data plan for $70 month, which includes unlimited calling and unlimited texting. The plans have been received warmly by customers, and AT&T and Verizon have launched similar pre-paid offerings as well.

So, what could this bold move be? A new blazer and cap for John Legere? Whatever the big surprise is, we’ll find out on July 10th.
