Two weeks ago we’ve told you about the HTC Desire 500 as it was leaked from O2 Germany alongside few other devices. Well that phone will be officially announced within few days; more precisely, that will happen on July 23rd.
Unfortunately, we have no idea what this handset is all about. However, judging by the model number, it’s likely smaller and cheaper than the Desire 600, which rocks a 4.5-inch qHD screen, Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 quad-core processor and an 8-megapixel camera on the back. In that sense, the Desire 500 will probably ship with a 4.3-inch screen (or smaller), 5-megapixel camera and dual-core processor. It too may be available in two different versions, one of which will sport dual-SIM capability. And since we caught it at O2 Germany, we know it’s heading to the West though we can’t tell whether or not will make it to North America. More on this in the next few days…
