Amazon had a bit of snafu yesterday when it accidentally told some customers that their Chromecast order was delayed until October. Amazon confirmed to Droid Life that the order date was incorrectly estimated by Amazon’s system. Rather than delaying orders, the company is “actively fulfilling orders and all customers who placed orders prior to August 7 should receive their orders in the coming weeks.”
Good news for those customers who hung in there despite the potential delay, bad news for those who gave up and cancelled their order in haste.
