Amazing Weather HD, one of the most popular apps on Windows Phone 8, just got updated today. The application delivers high-definition both through the app’s interface and the phone’s lock screen. Like Android, Windows Phone user’s are able to view the weather for the day or week without even unlocking their phone, which is a simple but usual feature.
The new update (version 4.2.1.5) brings a slew of features such as the ability to disable the back Live Tile, add new Live Tiles with forecast, cities names are now localised if available, and time is now displayed in each city’s timezone.
This app is definitely worth the download. However, the Amazing Weather HD application with all the bells and whistles will set you back $1.99. For those not willing to pay, can also download the limited lite version in the Windows Phone Store.
