LG V500 9.8-inch tablet caught at the FCC

We’ve already told you that LG is getting ready to return to the tablet market and most likely unveil a new device at the upcoming IFA in Berlin, Germany. What we’ve heard is that we may see an 8.3-inch model unveiled then and (here’s the news) that may not be the only tablet the Korean company will launch this year.

You see, FCC engineers are playing with the LG V500 as we speak. And that device apparently has a 9.8-inch screen. So it could be that what we’ve heard before isn’t true – or that LG will be launching not one but two tablets by the end of 2013.

FCC’s listing is everything but revealing, saying that the V500 comes with dual-band Wi-Fi connectivity and Bluetooth 4.0 LE support. And that’s it. We’ve no idea what kind of processor it hides under the hood, and can only hope this is a high-end model, with specs that are comparable to the company’s new flagship smartphone, G2. We will, however, have to wait and see what LG’s up to…
