How-To: Configure The Navigation Keys On The LG G2

The LG G2 is one of the hottest smartphones that’s set to hit the market in the near future with a ton of new and interesting hardware features, including the power button and volume rocker on the back side of the device. Still, the powerful hardware is just one of many great things about the G2 and LG has implemented many great software features as well.

LG provided some great software tweaks and options with the Optimus G, and the G2 continues in that tradition. Instead of the capacitive navigation buttons on found on its predecessor, the G2 now uses on-screen keys and LG allows the user to customize these keys a bit.

The customization options are fairly simple. You can switch the position of the back and menu buttons, but also add dedicated keys to pull down the notification panel or to launch QuickMemo. There are also a few theme options that include the standard black, or black gradation, white, and white gradation.

Tweaking your on-screen keys is easy enough:

Go into the Settings menu, swipe over to the Display settings and tap on the ‘Front touch button’ to see all of your options.

After that, you’ll be given the options below. Select the configuration you’d like on your G2 and you’re off.
