LG’s recently announced G Pad 8.3 will be rolling out worldwide at the end of October, according to Unwired View. The tablet will be available in 30 countries by the end of the year, including North America, Europe, Latin America, Asia and Africa.
The LG G Pad 8.3, LG’s first tablet since the Optimus Pad, comes packing an 8.9-inch screen with a 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution, and weighs in at just 338 grams. The device also touts a Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 quad-core processor running at 1.7GHz, 2GB of RAM, a 5MP rear camera and a 1.3MP front-facing snapper. 16GB of internal storage is on board, along with a 4,600mAh battery and Android 4.2.2 running the device.
If LG plays its cards right, this could be a hit for the company, as it looks to be a solid iPad mini competitor.
