T-Mobile recently added more options to its tethering data plans for unlimited users. The point is for the company to please its more data-hungry customers, by increasing data buckets and reducing costs. The new structure goes as followed:
- Unlimited data w/ 2.5GB of SMHS: $20/month
- Unlimited data w/ 4.5GB of SMHS: $30/month
- Unlimited data w/ 6.5GB of SMHS: $40/month
Adding something for the more price conscious like a cheaper 500MB plan would have been awesome. However we’d be hard pressed to complain about Magenta moving the minimum amount offered to 2.5GB with no price jump. This isn’t what we see as “unlimited” data, but it’s still better than what most of its competitors offer.
