Samsung launched the Pan-European Developer Engagement Programme in an effort to foster “opportunities for developers keen to benefit from a closer working relationship with Samsung across Europe.”

The world’s biggest smartphone maker said that “various levels of engagement are available, but all offer improved channels of communication with Samsung for a more collaborative application development style.”

The company is promising different benefits to developers looking for early access to its software and devices. In addition, Sammy will help companies get their apps noticed, offering promotion and marketing support on multiple platforms to make sure the content is “seen by the right audience.”

There are no fees for signing-up though participants must have an up-to-date Samsung Developers account, primarily do business within the EU, and complete a registration survey.

There’s one caveat though – due to limited places, the priority will be given to developers “producing high quality apps that make use of Samsung specific device features.”
