Skype for Android 4.4 comes with new UI for tablets

Skype has once again updated its Android app which now comes with a different UI if you’re running it from a tablet. The new interface “puts conversations first,” displaying your most recent calls and chats.

In addition, Skype for Android has several bug fixes and quality improvements, including accessibility improvements with full support for TalkBack screen reader, updates that address incoming call issues, changes to audio routing, as well as display and UX enhancements when switching orientation.

Skype for Android 4.4 is readily available from the Google Play Store though you probably already have it installed on your tablet and will be prompted to update. So… tap that button the second Skype informs you about the new version…
