BlackBerry still has a stronghold of fervent customers in its home company of Canada. These customers recently raised a stink with Canadian wireless carrier Rogers, which was rumored to be snubbing BlackBerry by not carrying the new BlackBerry Z30. Rogers released a statement earlier this week clarifying that it will be selling the Z30 online  in “response to customers’ feedback and excitement about the device.”

Rogers writes the following in its statement about the Z30:

We have a longstanding partnership with Blackberry and continue to be big supporters of the company and their products. Rogers will be making the device available online, through our national reservation system and directly to our business to business customers. We’re pleased to add the new Z30 to our roster of Blackberry smartphones, which includes the Z10, Q10 and Q5.

The Z30 is the BlackBerry’s flagship phone for 2013 The full touchscreen device sports a 5-inch 720p HD screen, 1.7GHz dual-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 8-megapixel rear camera, 2-megapixel front camera, 3G/4G connectivity, Wi-Fi, 16 GB of storage and a microSD memory card slot.
