Apple’s iPhone 5S announcement ushered in a golden age. For the first time an Apple product came in gold, as well as silver and “Space Gray”. Now a leak points to Apple’s refresh of its iPad and iPad mini will offer up the same color scheme. The pictures from Chinese rumor site Ctechcn show both devices sporting a fresh coat of Champagne Gold!
The pics certainly appear to be a couple of iPad devices in gold, and are reminiscent of the gold iPhone 5S photos that were leaking in advance of the smartphone’s announcement. Apple tends to have a unified style with its devices, so it would make sense for its new iPads to come in the same color options as the iPhones.
Let’s just hope they don’t start releasing a candy colored iPads a la the iPhone 5C!
