Nexus 5 To Debut On Halloween – Trick Or Treat?

The latest rumors peg the upcoming Nexus 5 to land in the Google Play Store this Halloween. If this rumor turns out to be true, it will be one hell of a Halloween treat.

Of course, just like all of the others, this is nothing but rumor. The unicorn that is the Nexus 5 has been heavily leaked in photo and video form, but we’re still not any closer to a release date until we hear it from Google. That said, the past two Nexus handset were announced during the month of October, so we’re still hopefully that we’ll get an official announcement sometime next week.

The October 31st date seems to be only for the US release of the Nexus 5, where Canada will have to wait a little longer. The release date for Telus, Bell, Rogers, Virgin, and Koodo is currently pegged for November 8th, so the wait won’t be too excruciating.

Until we get an official announcement from Google and LG, we have our doubts that the rumors surrounding the Nexus 5 will wane anytime soon. Luckily, as long as it’s not a trick, we don’t have much longer to wait for this Nexus 5 treat. If we’re lucky, we may also see a Nexus 4 with LTE released as well.
