Alright, here it is y’all, the Google Hangouts 2.0.012 with SMS integration! The app has been ripped from the Android 4.4 KitKat Nexus 5 image that was released yesterday, and is now available for download.
I installed it yesterday, and it’s pretty awesome. It’s nice to have Hangouts chats and SMS in one place, and the interface packs in more messages on the screen than the stock messaging app. Plus, it looks great.
So download the Hangouts .apk here, drop the file on your device and away you go! Just make sure you’ve set your device permissions to allow the installation of unknown apps.
