GoG Offers 3 Titles for $5! All Proceeds Go to Charity

GoG is teaming up with charities to offer 3 games for only $5. The line up of 10 games includes recent indie smashes like FTL, and classics like Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee. The sale goes on for a week, and you can grab your downloads while doing a good deed right here!

This deal is a little different from the Humble Bundle and other similar bundle deals, you choose 3 games and the whole price you pay goes to charity! All proceeds go to the group you select, chosen from WWF (environment and wildlife), Worldbuilders (international poverty) and Gaming For Good (vulnerable children). You can choose your 3 from a great line up of classic and indie games. Check out the list of great games below!

  • Botanicula
  • Creatures: Village
  • Darwinia
  • Driftmoon (pictured)
  • FTL: Faster Than Light
  • Incredipede
  • Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee
  • Pid
  • The Whispered World
  • Waking Mars
The offer is available until Nov. 12. You can choose more than three games too, and pay an extra $1.67 to charity for each additional game. The games on the list all normally retail for around $10, so this is a pretty great deal!

GoG is making sure that 100 percent of every donation goes to charity. This means that the company will be matching some of the funds to offset credit card fees, VAT, and other expenses. GoG estimates that it will be contributing $.25 on every dollar. Also, the developers of the participating games are waiving their royalties as part of the charity event.
