Xiaomi has managed to sell $90 million worth of phones and tablets during the recent Singles Day promotion. Translated into phones, that’s 380,000 units sold in a single day! Sure it’s not a “regular day,” but it does show us just how popular Xiaomi gear is.
To celebrate this special day, and to get himself familiar with Xiaomi’s operations, Hugo Barra joined the crew at the company’s warehouse. And he shared some photos on its Google+ account…
He seems excited to join a fast growing company like Xiaomi and we’re sure he has all the right skills to help these guys expand to the West. And we can’t wait to see Xiaomi’s products hitting Europe and the Americas. While we wait, check out Barra doing his best at Xiaomi’s facility. 😉
