Sony has finally decided to put some love behind its smart watch, having released an updated app in the Google Play Store.

The first thing you’ll notice are new watch faces that allow you to change the look and feel of your smart watch. In addition, there’s the stopwatch which for some reason were missing thus far; while the auto-brightness feature will automatically dim or brighten your watch based on the ambient light.

Plus, let’s not forget larger font sizes, and more importantly – notifications. You can now quickly scroll through notifications with scroll bar indicating where you’re at. There’s also a button tapping on which will mark all notifications as read.

Finally, the usual bug fixes and stability improvements come included making for a that much better user experience.

Unlike Samsung’s Galaxy Gear, Sony’s SmartWatch can sing along any Android smartphone as long as it runs Android 4.0 or later…
