As I said it before, (among other things) the next year will be marked by an onslaught of Samsung “Lite” devices. We’ve already told you about forthcoming Galaxy Note 3 Lite and Galaxy Grand Lite, and now we’re hearing that the Galaxy Tab 3 Lite will join this trend, as well.
According to SamMobile, this device — or that’s a series of devices — will be unveiled in January, starting with Wi-Fi model while the 3G-enabled version will follow shortly. The tablet will be available in “Cream White” and “Ebony Black” color options, and perhaps some other colors later in the year. The price is set at around 100 EUR.
As for the specs, we’re not sure what to expect. It is, however, fair to guess that the “Lite” model won’t have the horsepower of the “regular” Galaxy Tab 3. That said, we must add that regular Tabs are everything but powerful devices, so these “Lite” models will most definitely target the very low-end of the market. We’ll let you know as soon as we hear something new on this…
