Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Lite to come with a 720p HD screen?

We’ve already told you that Samsung is working on “Lite” versions of few of its devices, including the Galaxy Note 3. That model, we’re hearing, will come with 720p rather than full HD screen. That display will likely still be fairly big, justifying the phablet’s brand [Note].

So in a way, we may be looking at a slightly redesigned version of the Galaxy Note II. The processor found in the upcoming model will likely be faster than the one Note II has but it won’t be that much faster. In fact, we’re talking about a device that sits somewhere between the Note II and Note 3. It will have many of the latest bells and whistles without the super-fast Snapdragon 800, 3GB of RAM and full HD screen. In that sense, Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Lite should be much more affordable than “regular” Note 3.

The chances are we’ll get the missing details in just a week. Or if that doesn’t happen, we should get ’em at the upcoming Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Stay tuned as we bring you more…
