For those of you who haven’t heard of it before, Fleksy is one of the virtual keyboard apps you can download from the Google Play Store. It’s also available for the iPhone, and — check this out — the Galaxy Gear. You got that right, this app can be installed on Sammy’s smart watch, allowing you to type messages directly on your wrist.

You can’t really get it from the “official channels,” and in order to add keyboard to your Galaxy Gear, you’ll have to side-load the application. Moreover, you shouldn’t expect a similar typing speed on the Gear’s small screen as you would on a smartphone, but you’ll be able to type such short answers as “ok,” “see you,” and so on.

Fleksy made this easier with its rather powerful auto-correct feature, but we still suggest anyone to use the actual phone for texting. Simply put – it’s much safer.

The Verge managed to record a short video to demonstrate the capability. Check it out and do let us know what you think about it.
