EVGA Tegra Note 7 KitKat update rolling out as we speak

Good news for owners of EVGA’s Tegra Note 7 – the latest (and greatest) Android version is coming your way. That’s right, as far as we know, KitKat may already be available for download and all you have to do is ask for it from Settings -> About tablet. It should be there, though even if it isn’t – the new software will eventually come your way in the next few days or so.

Not much is known about the changes included with this firmware (aside from all the new features Android 4.4.2 brings to the table). It should improve performance and stability, while also packing the Gamepad Mapper feature, and other optimizations and fixes.

You should tap that button, nevertheless. It’s a good practice to have the up-to-date firmware at all times. Just make sure your battery is fully charged before you begin… so you have enough juice to finish it off. Good luck! 😉
