So Rovio’s new entry into the Angry Birds franchise is a turn-based RPG? Yup, you’ve got it right! Angry Birds Epic, which is already available to play on iOS devices in Canada, Australia and New Zealand puts players on a “A fantasy piggy island where silly costumes were fashionable, and weapons were—how to put it?—different.” Sounds like some serious cosplay to us.
Rovio has released a trailer today which showcases actual gameplay from Angry Birds Epic, giving us something to swoon over while we patiently wait for the games’ arrival. Rovio has yet to announce just when the game will make its way to the rest of the world, but we can’t imagine it taking too long.
