Google has launched Play Store Devices in 8 new European countries, including Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Ireland, the Netherlands, Portugal and Sweden. The devices offered include the Nexus 5, Nexus 7 and Chromecast, though the last mentioned is also available in few other markets.
It’s great to see the search giant expanding the reach of its own online store, allowing more users to get unlocked phones and tablets for less. Grabbing the Nexus 5 with a carrier contract makes little sense, and the same goes for Nexus 7 with cellular connectivity. Hopefully, this is just a start with more countries coming soon.
