The laptop space has been surprisingly devoid of the Android OS, with Chromebooks stealing the show as of late. While we’ve seen a few Android powered tablets-cum-laptops before from Asus, never has a truly Android powered laptop entered the scene. That’s about to all change, thanks to a peek at HP’s upcoming Slatebook 14. The news comes form a video posted on HP’s website, which has since pulled from the web. Guess HP wants to try to keep the Slatebook 14 a secret for a little while longer.

There’s no official release date or pricing info for HP’s Android powered laptop, Android Police did manage to get some details about the Slatebook 14 before HP pulled the video from their website. The Slatebook 14 packs a 14 inch full HD touchscreen, a microSD card, a 3.5mm audio jack, HDMI output and three USB ports. The keyboard is pretty much on par with HP’s other laptop offerings and has a spacious trackpad. A Tegra chip will be on board, the exact model still unknown. More than likely, the Slatebook 14 will utilize a Tegra 4 or Tegra K1.

The idea of an Android powered laptop is interesting, and we can’t wait until HP officially announces the Slatebook 14. If you can’t wait that long and want to install Android on your laptop right now, check out our guide on how to install Android on your laptop right now.

We’ll keep you updated as more details emerge. In the meantime, check out the Slatebook 14 below.
