Windows Phone will get a proper file manager soon, according to Microsoft’s VP of Windows and User Experience Joe Belfiore, who confirmed the news during the recent Reddit AMA “Ask Me Anything” session.
In fact, he kept the news for Reddit, saying that he “avoided tweeting on this very topic just for all you redditors. Seriously.” Joe then noted that he has been running file manager build on a few of his phones and it is getting in “pretty good shape.”
Unfortunately, he failed to mentioned any dates, but it’s likely we won’t have to wait for too long to get a Windows Phone file manager. After all, what’s a platform without a file manager, right?
