Samsung is apparently working on a new phone from its Galaxy Mega series. According to EVleaks, the upcoming Galaxy Mega 2, marked as SM-G750, will be out soon, boasting a 6-inch 720p (1280×720 pixels) screen. Other details are still a mystery at the moment, but we would have to guess the Korean company won’t be using the best-possible chip for this huge mid-ranger.

We do predict a pair of cameras (likely 8MP on the back), optional LTE connectivity support (in some markets), and usual array of sensors.

As far as I can tell, phones like these are made for parts of Asia where folks dig such huge devices. And are often ready to accept the compromises for lower price.

Additionally, given Samsung’s huge sales & marketing push, we wouldn’t be surprised if one of these ends up selling in the West, as well.

Anyhow, we’ll be on the lookout for additional news and get back to you when we have something new to add. Anyone interested in grabbing one of these?
