Tegra Note 7 owners will now be able to view Netflix in 1080p right on their devices, thanks to an update from NVIDIA. This makes the Tegra Note 7 the first Android device to take advantage of 1080p streaming from Netflix. Nice one, NVIDIA!
The update is rolling out OTA as we speak, although it hasn’t popped up on my Note 7 yet. That’s par for the course, as OTA updates sometimes take a day or so (sometimes longer) to land on devices. Being that this update isn’t really a huge one, expect to see an update notification on your device very soon.
If you’re not one to sit and wait for updates, head over to Settings > About Tablet > System updates and install the update if it’s there.
