Amazon’s rumored 3D smartphone is slated to be announced tomorrow, June 18th at an event in Seattle. Although Amazon hasn’t officially announced that tomorrow’s event will focus on the company’s smartphone, it’s a pretty safe bet that’s what is going down. We’ve heard tale that Amazon’s new device will be an AT&T exclusive, and a new report from the Wall Street Journal reiterates that rumor. Amazon and AT&T already partner to provide Kindle tablets will data service, so no surprises here.

Amazon’s smartphone is said to deliver a 3D UI, utilizing at least 6 normal cameras, and 4 infrared camera on the front which will track a user’s eye movements. The device is expected to come with a 4.7 inch screen, 2GB of RAM and a newer Snapdragon chip, possibly the 801 or 805. The device will be Android based, with Amazon’s heavily customized UI calling the shots.

We’ll see what happens tomorrow at Amazon’s event. Stay tuned!
