Amazon’s Kindle Unlimited Wants to Make Binge Reading a Thing

Just as the rumors suggested, Amazon launched its Kindle Unlimited service today, a Netflix style $10 a month service that gives users unlimited access to Amazon’s cache of over 600,000 eBooks. The Kindle Unlimited service is only available in the U.S. at the moment, with other countries slated to receive the binge reading service soon.

Kindle Unlimited will work on any device that runs the Kindle app, meaning any Android, iPad or Kindle device you may have lying around can be utilized.

Ready to get reading? Sign up now for a 30-day trial. If you decide that you can’t get enough of Kindle Unlimited and end up subscribing, Amazon will throw in a free three-month membership to its audio book service, Audible. Kindle Unlimited will run you $9.99 a month.

Kindle Unlimited sure is interesting, but will it take off? Do people even care about books anymore? We’ll see.
