The Fire TV is Amazon’s answer to Roku and other streaming boxes out there. It’s a little beefier than the competition, and sports all of your favorite streaming services such as Netflix, Hulu Plus and of course, Amazon Prime video. The Fire TV transforms into a gaming box with the addition of the Fire Controller, which will run you an extra $40.
If you’ve already got a Roku, Apple TV or Android streaming box of some sort, the Fire TV’s probably not for you. If you’ve yet to jump into the streaming box game and/or have a ton of content purchased through Amazon, this could just be the device for you.
